'Black Crab' Is A New Netflix Thriller Starring Noomi Rapace
I've been waiting to see her come back into the horror world!!!
It's been a while since Prometheus and I absolutely loved Rapace's role in it reminded me of Sigourney Weaver in Alien.
The Black Crab is a new Netflix thriller that they now have the world rights to. Jerker Virdborg is a Swedish writer that wrote the novel.
The Black Crab will be somewhat of an environmental thriller placing soldiers sent with the duty to transport a package over a frozen lake in a post-apocalytpic world. The mission is as dangerous as it is important for the package their carrying which I think in the film is what's being refered to as 'The Black Crab', will be what has the potential to end the war.
“I’m very excited to come back to Sweden and do Black Crab. My first Swedish film in years. Can’t wait to get suited up and go on this journey – explore human shadows and slide through broken dreams and a world on edge. Survival to what price?”
Rapace is an extremely talented actress and Prometheus surely won't be the last we'll see of her. I can't wait to see her on an adventure to save her world from catastrophic events in war. It's very close to home since we are on the verge of a potential end ourselves. Films like this will hit us harder now with our current situation.
Director Adam Berg will be taking us in to this barren world for us to learn the story of the grand pilgrimage to end all wars. Producing the film are Malin Idevall and Mattias Montero who are at Indio, based in Stockholm.
