Co-Creator of 'Scooby-Doo', Joe Ruby, has Passed Away at 87

As if 2020 couldn't get any worse... :(

With Scooby-Doo being the ultimate tale of ghost/monster mysteries for most people growing up, this is one of the toughest things for me to report. I grew up HEAVILY on the show and am personally devastated.

It was announced today that Joe Ruby, the Co-Creator of the 1969 animated series "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" has passed away at age 87.

Created by both Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, Scooby-Doo has gone on to be one of the most successful franchises of all time and I can say it personally impacted my life a lot growing up. We have lost another legend in 2020... R.I.P.

From a deep place in our hearts, The Bloody Pulp family would like to extend our condolences to Ruby's family, friends and fans.
