Friday The 13th Video Game Will No Longer Be Supported By Developers + Lose Dedicated Servers

I really liked this game :(

It seemed like it took forever for this game to come out, but when it did, it was amazing! Nothing was more satisfying than hunting down noobs as Jason and brutally (and I mean brutally) murdering them. God I loved it.

But sadly, the game will soon be no more. For the most part.

The developers announced that there will be one more patch in November, then after that the game will lose developer support and dedicated servers.

"Dedicated Servers for Friday the 13th: The Game will be decommissioned in the upcoming patch, set to roll out this month, November 2020. What this means is that the game will revert to peer to peer matchmaking for Quick Play lobbies. The Database Servers, however, will stay active and continue to house all player progression and unlocks, so users can continue to play Friday the 13th: The Game via peer to peer Quick Play and Private Matches."

Said community developer Matt Shotcha.

This really is a sad day for horror gamers. If you have this game, or have yet to try it out, make sure you play it while it's still easy to do so!!

What are your favorite memories of this game??
