Insert Giant Sad Face Here :(
Mike Flanagan is a modern horror master. He is the main mind behind The Haunting Of Hill House and The Haunting Of Bly Manor. And his feature films include Oculus, Doctor Sleep and Hush. And so, so much more.
And with that being said, he has a lot on his plate for the upcoming years. But one of those things is not a third season of Netflix's "Haunting" anthology series. And it kind of breaks my heart, not gonna lie.
A fan recently asked him on Twitter if there were any plans for a third season, and this was his response:
“At the moment there are no plans for more chapters. Never say never, of course, but right now we are focused on a full slate of other @intrepid projects for 2021 and beyond. If things change we will absolutely let everyone know!”
But don't fret too much. Because Flanagan wasn't lying when he said he's working on a whole bunch of other stuff. One of those things, is Midnight Mass, a new horror series for Netflix.
Synopsis of Midnight Mass:
"A community experiences miraculous events and frightening omens after a mysterious priest's arrival."
