"NIGHT BOOKS" - A New Netflix Anthology based On The Horror Fantasy Children's Books

Another anthology series? Please, keep em' comin'!

Kids horror is the most wholesome way to consume the genre and I'm all for Sam Raimi from Ghost House studios and Brightburn director David Yarovesky. I love that I get to cover so many anthology series this October, as otherwise, they would have slid under my radar.

The adaptation of J.A White's 'Night Books' will feature a lead acting role played by Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter.

Mason Novick and Michelle Knudsen of MXN Entertainment will also be producing.

With the correct care for this series, we seem to have all the right people working on this, as The Curse Of La Llorona writers will be working on the screenplay for the anthology.

"A boy named Alex who is obsessed with scary stories, and is trapped by a witch in her modern, magical New York City apartment. His original hair-raising tales are the only thing keeping him safe as he desperately tries to find a way out of this twisted place."

What do you think about this series? Will it be trash or pass? Or great?
