Ridley Scott's 'Raised By Wolves' on HBO is my New Addiction!

Murderous Necromancer Androids... Fuck yes!

We hope you're tuning in to HBO MAX's new exclusive special 'Raised By Wolves', directed by renowned Ridley Scott (Alien, Prometheus) because it has everything... A splash of Alien, a dash of Prometheus and a pinch of Blade Runner. Is it perfect? No. Is it epic? Yes.

The premiered episodes take us to the barren nearly uninhabitable planet of Kepler 22b (At least the regions they've explored so far) where we follow a duo of space suited androids, Amanda Collins (Mother) and Abubakar Salim (Father), with a task to raise children. A threat comes in the form of another civilization bearing religion, complicating this task.

It is hard to tell whether or not the androids are forming relationship bonds with the children or if their program is just dead set on completing their mission. All craziness ensues when we get to see what Mother is capable of.

Whats expected is the stunning cinematography and it's ability to capture you at even the dullest moments, because there will be dull moments, this show is kind of a slow burner. There will be lots of nuances and larger questions touched upon when biblical themes play out in this desolate future. Mankind will be questioned. Technology will be questioned. Vikings star Travis Fimmel will be questioned.

The cream of the crop is of course the effects though, and for this top production budget sci-fi thriller I think they are well done enough to keep my interest in the show but there is still more to be desired.

I hope to keep people updated as the show comes to it's finale, but one thing is for sure... This show is unique.

Are you ready for deep philosophical questions, android goop and creepy skeleton creatures? What do you think of the first three episodes, if you've seen them?
