Scream Queen Of All Time Award Goes To Jamie Lee Curtis!

Halloween may be the greatest slasher film of all time. So it only makes sense that Jamie Lee Curtis deserves this award!

The MTV Movie Awards just happened! And with that, they gave out their GOAT (greatest of all time) awards . And Laurie Strode herself, Jamie Lee Curtis, brought home the award of the greatest scream queen!

She made her film debut in John Carpenter's Halloween in 1978, and she has been beloved ever since.

Neve Campbell, who plays Sydney in the Scream franchise presented her the award!

This was what Jamie Lee Curtis had to say about the award:

"To all of the fans at MTV and obviously all of the fans of horror movies, I thank you personally from the bottom of my heart...It’s been an amazing time. And ya know, MTV was invented in 1981 and Halloween was invented in 1978 so I feel like we’ve grown up together

I would not be standing here were it not for John Carpenter, Debra Hill, Irwin Yablans and Moustapha Akkad...And now, all these years later, David Gordon Green, Malek Akkad, Blumhouse, Universal, Miramax, have all come together to bring you another Halloween and now two more.”

Jamie Lee Curtis is set to reprise her role as Laurie Strode in 2021's Halloween Kills!
