TEASER TRAILER | Edgar Wright Exits Comedy for a new Psychological Horror Film, 'Last Night in SOHO'

If Anyone Can Do it, it's Edgar Wright.

Coming from his humble beginnings with horror inspired comedy, Shaun of the Dead, Edgar Wright is looking to reinvent himself with his brand new film Last Night in Soho.

What is being described as a "psychological horror" film, is sure to be a surprise style from fans of Wright's previous work. The film is set in London's Soho district during the sixties and seems to involve... Time travel?

Revealed during Saturday Night Live, which was hosted by Anya Taylor-Joy, the official trailer will debut on Tuesday, May 25th.

“A young girl, passionate about fashion design, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it seems, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences.”

The Film stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Thomasin McKenzie. Edgar Wright is acting as both director and co-writer alongside Penny Dreadful writer Krysty Wilson-Cairns.

Focus Feature is set to release the film in theaters on October 22, 2021!
