'The Strangers' Director Bryan Bertino's New Film 'The Dark and The Wicked' Releasing in November!

The Strangers is one of our favorites... This is exciting.

Okay, let me begin by saying The Strangers is so underrated and one of my favorite horror films of all time. Kip Weeks, the man behind the mask, deserves more love by the Horror community than he gets. His absolutely TERRIFYING performance is on par with the physicality showcased by the legend Kane Hodder. Seriously, the visceral physical intensity was amazing. Anyway.

Director of The Strangers Bryan Bertino has just announce his new film has officially been picked up by RLJE Films and Shudder, reported by Deadline.

“On a secluded farm in a nondescript rural town, a man is slowly dying. His family gathers to mourn, and soon a darkness grows, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that something evil is taking over the family.”

With the film coming to US theaters on November 6, it is planned to release on Shudder sometime in 2021.

The film, written and directed by Bertino, stars Marin Ireland, Michael Abbott Jr., Xander Berkeley, Lynn Andrews, Julie Oliver-Touchstone, Tom Nowicki and Ella Ballentine.
