"This is the Real Purge... The Forever Purge."
One night is not enough.
Back in 2013, The Purge, spawned a series of 3 sequels exploring this wild, bizarre world. This twisted universe forces us to witness a nation that cleanses itself in one night of legal crime every year. The main theme of the films has been one of classism and politics. The Rich vs. The Poor, Politicians vs. The People.
And of course the slaughter fest only happens ONE night a year. No laws, no police, no help.
Introducing the new, and allegedly final installment, The Forever Purge. Directed by Everardo Gout, the final film shows us what happens when The Purge doesn't end after one night. As one of the characters says in the trailer, "This is the Real Purge... The Forever Purge."
The film is set for a July 2nd, 2021 release.
“This summer, all the rules are broken as a sect of lawless marauders decides that the annual Purge does not stop at daybreak and instead should never end in The Forever Purge.”
The film stars, Ana de la Reguera (Cowboys & Aliens), Tenoch Huerta (Days of Grace), Will Patton (Halloween), Josh Lucas (Ford v Ferrari), Cassidy Freeman (Righteous Gemstones), and Leven Rambin (The Hunger Games).
A screenplay by franchise creator James DeMonaco.
The film is produced by the franchise’s founding producers: Jason Blum for Blumhouse Productions; Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller; and Man in a Tree duo James DeMonaco and longtime producing partner Sébastien K. Lemercier. The film’s executive producers are Marcei A. Brown, Everardo Gout and Jeanette Volturno.
