We Hope You Didn't Miss Episode 1 Of "Eli Roth's History Of Horror" Season 2
The horror documentary straight from the best minds in horror just premiered a second season recently
Now despite all the delays, there is still so much horror to catch up on, which is why The Bloody Pulp is working overtime to make sure you're up to date. Eli Roth is one of our favorite horror directors and season one of History of Horror was a pleasant surprise when it first aired on Shudder and AMC.
The description of the show goes as described in a quick paragraph found on AMC/Shudder.
Award-winning horror film director, writer, producer, and actor Eli Roth brings together the masters of horror -
the storytellers and stars who define the genre - to explore its biggest themes and reveal the inspirations and struggles behind its past and present. Each one-hour episode will take viewers on a chilling exploration of how horror has evolved through the years and examine the genre's impact on society as well as delving into how horror maintains its fan base and why audiences are addicted to fear. Interviewees include Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Linda Blair, and many others.
At 10 pm on October 12th the first episode "Houses of Hell" premiered and explored "home is where the heart is, unless you live in a house of hell."
Poking at the illusion of comfort and safety, this has been one of the biggest themes expressed in horror movies today.
